U.S. peanut growers may soon see much-needed economic relief following the announcement of a new agricultural assistance package that includes support for peanut producers through the Farmer Bridge Assistance (FBA) Program. Payments are expected to begin as early as February 2026.
The assistance comes at a time when producers continue to navigate high input costs, low commodity prices, and other economic pressures. This program helps strengthen the farm safety net and provides confidence as growers prepare for the next crop year.
Eligible growers should ensure their acreage reports and farm data are up to date with their local Farm Service Agency (FSA) office by December 19, 2025.
